Plan of a one-day trip
Departure is in the morning. Departure time depends on the city of departure and is reported, when ordering a trip.
We begin our travel from the North Rhine Westphalia and, having passed Bonn, we go deeper into the Siebengebirge. According to Goethe, "the most beautiful road of Europe", where along the Rhine we will make the way to our purpose. One can’t count the verses, songs, legends, sagas and fairy tales written under the influence of Rhine and to his glory. The most famous epos about Nibelungs, demonic owners of treasures from Siebengebirge.
Then we will come to the territory of the Rhineland-Palatinate, going by many small and big wine towns, which fantastic houses with half-timbered architecture, rolling in gardens and vineyards, delight tourists from all countries of the world...
Only 2-3 hours separate us from the purpose, and here we are already bewitched by almost unreal picture of merge of Rhine and Moselle, as ancient Romans were bewitched before us more than two thousand years ago.
The Deutsches Eck is so famous and glorified, just a few people didn't hear something about it and wouldn't wish to get here to see one of the most famous panoramas of Europe. Every year it is visited by more than two million people. With you the number of visitors will even more increase! You are waited by the huge choice of boat rides on Rhine and Moselle with a sightseeing. There is a museum of Ludwig and Basilica of St. Castor (836 year) and, of course, a lot of pleasure from travel on almost kilometer rope way to the top, where unapproachable, but not for us, fortress stands. And what views from cabins! Tremendous impressions!!! Visiting the fortress is paid additionally, at will. Regional Museum and, in case if you got hungry, restaurant with a magnificent view. But it isn’t everything ! We don't drive you only into one corner, though it is German...
KOBLENZ also waits for you! It is a heart of West Germany. "All roads lead to Rome ", – residents of the ancient city said and added: "All roads lead from Koblenz". The history of this city is intriguing, dramatic, but... with the happy end. Walking along the small streets, you will surely come across the amusing and unusual fountain, devoted to its history from the Roman times up till now. The Schangelbrunnen (spat boy) will meet you, but be careful – he is a "joker". Yes, and except the sights, shopping also is at your disposal. Innumerable quantity of shops. We can finish our visit in this peculiar city-museum of Germany, where everything is penetrated by centuries-old history, with the words: Koblenz has got everything in there.... There is no place for boredom... Closer by the evening we will taste a glass of Rhine or Moselle wine (at will). Or maybe, both!. And one unknown poet told:
There is no where better, than in Rhine,
The world is mad about it.
The feelings are like in Paradise
Oh, Rhine! I sing the song for you...
