Brugge is one of the most beautiful cities of Europe, the romantic museum under the open sky with the ancient churches, elegant buildings, famous channels and ports.
Not to visit Brugge means not to see the most interesting in Belgium. All the city is a fairy tale, created by an interlacing of channels and ancient streets, the squares of the XIV-XVI centuries and modern little shops filled with the famous lace, the Belgian chocolate and beer.

Brugge is the capital of the Western Flanders, a wreath of travel to the Kingdom of Belgium! The city with more than 1100 – year history, and what a history! In the Middle Ages about 200 thousand inhabitants lived here more, than now. But Brugge lost the political, trade, military force so long ago, that even the grief from this loss already turned into the elegiac sadness, giving to the city a thin charm, connection of fragility and courage, that found reflection in works of the great artists living and creating here - Jan van Eyck, Hans Memling, Rogier van der Weyden … The captivating city is sung not only by the artists, poets, writers, but as well...by guides – the city attracts about 3 million tourists a year, more, than any other city of Belgium. During our excursion you will get acquainted with the romantic lake Minnewater, where the famous port was; with white swans – the Brugge symbol, medieval women monastery Begijnhof, where about 80 conventions live today, with the oldest in Belgium town hall and Church of St. El Salvador (the 9th century), the market square over which Belfort towers, which was a symbol of firmness and city freedoms.
You will go along the narrow Blind Ezelstraat from the Fish Market to the ancient Burg Square. There you will see two churches: St. Vasily's Church, and over it - the Basil St. Christ's Blood. You will admire the picturesqueness of one of the first hospitals of Europe - St John's Hospitals and the church of the 14th century adjoining it, devoted to the patroness of Brugge Virgin Mary. The unique work of Michelangelo, representing Madonna with the son, is stored in this church.
Over the channels of Northern Venice, as Brugge was called long ago, about 80 bridges are built. Along channels numerous souvenir shops , cafes with surprising Belgian cuisine, the Belgian beer, chocolate and marzipan are located …
After the walking tour you can continue acquaintance to the amazing city on the carriage, the vehicle, the boat or by bicycle – depending on the season and your desires. But wherever you go, your hand will involuntarily look for the camera, which is necessary during this unforgettable trip.
In the evening we return to Germany. Arrival time depends on the city of departure.
